The opportunity
We are recruiting a Trainee AutoMET Pipe Surveyor for Irwin Marine Services Hellas in Athens. The selected candidate will receive a separate allowance during a paid three-month training programme in Shenzhen. Direct employment follows successful completion of training.

Practical readiness
You must live in Athens, have the right to work in Greece and the EU, be willing to travel frequently and accept a schedule that can change at short notice. A driving licence is required before training.
Role requirements
- Basic technical or workshop experience
- Confidence with tape measures, calipers and micrometers
- Ability or aptitude to read basic isometric drawings
- Greek and English communication
- Work from home and mobilise to sites
- Frequent air travel for assignments
- Work at height and in confined spaces using proper safety systems
- Reasonable fitness for climbing and crawling
- Readiness for engine rooms, mines and other demanding sites
- Passport, or ability to obtain one promptly
Pipe fitting, dimensional-control or marine technical experience is useful, but the right character and learning ability matter more.
